今回、Fonさんが紹介してくれたのは、バンコクで活躍するDJ「DJ TO-RU」。「日本人DJで最もホットな1人！」とFonさんも太鼓判を押している。

DJ活動をする一方、今おしゃれな若者が集まるエリアとして注目されているプラカノンにアートギャラリー「GOJA Gallery Café」を自身のレーベルのメンバーと昨年オープンさせた。世界的なスケートボードアーティスト「Sadam Yoshizawa」を兄に持つDJ TO-RUならではのセンスがギャラリー経営にも一役買っている。彼の活躍ぶりはバンコクのみならず日本でも取り上げられるほどで、雑誌「クーリエ・ジャポン」にも紹介された。

毎週金曜日の夜に、W HOTEL BANGKOKにあるバーラウンジ「WOOBAR」でプレイ中のDJ TO-RU。その他にもバンコクにあるいくつものクラブで活動中だ。その活動はタイにとどまることなく、来月はフィリピンで行われるミュージックフェス「Malasimbo Music&Arts Festival」にも出演予定。これからも目が離せないDJの１人だ。

DJ TO-RU
If you come to Bangkok and love to party or listen to good music – you will need to get acquainted to Mr. Toru Yoshizawa or better known as DJ TO-RU. Originally from Sendai and brother of Sadam Yoshizawa whom is one of the most respected skateboard artist in the world.

DJ TO-RU currently is one of the hottest Japanese DJ in town as well as a co-owner of GOJA Gallery Café which he has represented in Courrier Japan magazine. You will find him spinning at W Hotel Bangkok Woobar every Friday night, as well as various pubs/clubs around town. Internationally he will be playing at the Malasimbo Music Festival in the Philippines (asiaunite.info) this early March.

The best thing about him is that he has lived in Bangkok,Thailand for over 6 years. He has deep information on places to go and where to be in Bangkok (new shop openings, parties, restaurants). Better than that, you will love his sense of humor and friendliness! I can say that many fans and travellers visit him at GOJA for these reasons.
