かつて、ファッションの勉強のためニューヨークに2、3年間住んでいた彼女たち。その際、小さなブティックをオープンさせたときから、デザイナーとしての才能を開花。Hilton姉妹がSretsisを着用した姿を写真に撮られて以降、ニューヨーク中で急速に話題に！さらに、Vogueや、ELLE、InStyleといったファッション誌にも取り上げられ、Katy Perry や Beyonce といったハリウッドセレブも愛用していることから、ブームはさらに広がりを見せた。

現在では、タイ国内外でショップを展開しているSretsisだが、2014年に東京・青山に日本1号店をオープンさせたことも話題に！

This month I’d like to introduce to you a Thai fashion brand that has been recognized all over the world.

“Sretsis” – spelt backwards from the word ‘sisters’ had been founded by 3 fashionable sisters Pim, Kly, and Martina in 2002. These ladies had a talent for fashion ever since they had lived and studied fashion in New York for a couple of years and opened a small boutique there.

The brand suddenly became the talk of the town in the US when Paris and Nicky Hilton were photographed in Sretsis clothing. Soon after, they were featured in various top fashion magazines such as Vogue, ELLE, InStyle. The boom hit as more and more Hollywood celebrities such as Katy Perry, Beyonce had been photographed in Sretsis as well.

Sretsis has various shops here and there, but the biggest news of last year 2014 was that the 3 sisters were able to open their very first shop in Tokyo, Aoyama !

If I have to describe the Sretsis style in 5 words it would be – fun, girly, quirky, modern and rebellious with a touch of fantasy. I can say it is one of the modern brands that is always in style and has made Thailand very proud !

So if you are a fashion geek you must at least check this brand out – if not in Bangkok then why not Tokyo !
